How to update or cancel availability
Life happens — here's how to make changes to your availability slots on Elevate@SUSS, whether they were set up by you or by an admin on your behalf.
Viewing Your Availability
- From the navigation bar, click Journey > Manage My Availabilities.
The default view shows your availability by week. Click Monthly View to see the full month, or Weekly View to switch back. Click Today to jump back to the current date.
Slots are colour-coded for easy reference:
- 🟢 Green — Availability set, no bookings yet
- 🟠 Orange — Some slots have been booked
- 🔴 Red — All slots fully booked
Editing a Slot
Only green (unbooked) slots can be edited.
- Select the day with the slot you want to edit.
- Click the pencil icon on the slot card to make changes.

- Save your changes.
⚠️ If a slot is part of a recurring series and any session in that series has already been booked, the entire series can no longer be edited. Please ensure you are confident of your availability before setting up recurring slots.
Cancelling a Slot
If a slot has already been booked, it cannot be deleted — it can only be cancelled (Read more: Managing booking requests article).
- Select the day with the slot you want to cancel.
- Click the trash icon on the slot card.
- Confirm the cancellation.
💡 Your learner will be notified automatically when a booked slot is cancelled.
Slots Set Up by an Admin
In some cases, an admin may set up availability slots on your behalf. You will be notified when this happens and can review or update these slots if needed — the same editing and cancellation rules apply.
Outlook-Synced Slots
Slots created via Outlook sync cannot be edited directly on Elevate. To make changes, update the relevant event in your Outlook calendar and wait up to 5 minutes for the sync to reflect. To delete an Outlook-synced slot, refer to the Syncing Your Outlook Calendar article for the correct steps.

Best Practices
- If you need to cancel a booked session, always message your learner via the Messages tab before cancelling on the platform — give as much advance notice as possible.
- If your availability changes regularly, consider using Outlook sync to keep your calendar up to date automatically!
